A: Our square butter dish is designed with a generous interior. It comfortably fits standard 250g (8.8 oz) blocks and is compatible with both East Coast (long and slim) and West Coast (short and stubby) butter sticks.

A: The glass version is made from high-borosilicate glass, which is much stronger and more resistant to thermal shock than regular glass. It can easily withstand transitions from the cold refrigerator to a room-temperature countertop without cracking.
Q3: Does the lid create an airtight seal?
A: The lid is designed to fit snugly over the base to shield your butter from air exposure and lingering refrigerator odors. While it provides an excellent protective barrier to keep butter fresh and soft, it is not a vacuum-sealed lid, making it easy to lift with one hand.
